STABOOS is an owner-managed retailer from Freudenstadt in the Black Forest. We carry work and rolling stools for people who work sitting down — in clinics, studios, laboratories and workshops.

Our range is deliberately narrow: thirteen models that differ in seat shape, height and casters, instead of a hundred barely distinguishable variants. We stock matching spare parts for every model, so a worn pair of casters or a faulty gas spring never means buying a new stool.

How much weight can a STABOOS rolling stool take?

All models support up to 160 kg. The base is made of solid aluminium, the gas spring is tested to DIN 4550.

Which seat heights are available?

Two ranges: 50–65 cm and 55–75 cm, each infinitely adjustable by gas lift. The taller version is also available with a foot ring so your legs are supported in a high seat position.

Which seat shape is right for me?

Round seat for changing positions, saddle seat for an upright pelvis during long treatments, butterfly seat with a cut-out surface if you lean forward a lot. The catalogue filter shows the matching models for each shape.

Do the stools roll on carpet and on tiles?

Yes. The premium casters are made of soft polyurethane and run quietly on hard and soft floors alike. For workplaces where the stool should stay put when you stand up, there are models with brake casters.

Do I have to assemble the stool?

Just plug it together: base, gas spring and seat connect without tools. It takes a few minutes.

How long does delivery take?

Usually 2–4 working days within Germany, shipped by DHL. Shipping is free on orders over €150.

Can I return the stool if it does not fit?

Yes, within 30 days and without giving reasons. The details are in the withdrawal policy.

Will spare parts still be available later?

Yes. Gas springs, casters, foot rings, bases and seats are available individually — you will find them in the shop under spare parts.

How do I clean the upholstery?

The seats are covered in synthetic leather and tolerate standard surface disinfectants. Wipe with a damp cloth, no abrasives.
